How do I traffic Linkshare affiliate code?

INSTRUCTIONS

To serve Linkshare affiliate code and count the clicks with AHS, you should follow the procedure listed below:

STEP #1) Login to your Linkshare account to view the linkshare code.

STEP #2) Make your creative and choose Edit Rich Media. Choose the "Third Party Ad Tag" template.

STEP #3) In the edit rich media page, type in the proper width and height for the creative. Copy and paste the Linkshare code into the Rich Media Code field.

We need to edit the HREF portion of the Linkshare code. The HREF will look something like this:

a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=3434234d4&offerid=111111.11111111&type=4&subid=0"

STEP #4) Go to the site http://www.tinyurl.com, enter in the Linkshare HREF URL in to the tinyurl field:

http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=3434234d4&offerid=111111.11111111&type=4&subid=0

and click the button Make TinyURL to create the tinyurl click redirect. It will give you a new URL which looks like:
http://tinyurl.com/XXXXX
(NOTE: Tinyurl click redirects are valid for many months.)

STEP #5) Replace the Linkshare code's HREF with the [OASISCLICK:] function combined with the new tinyurl you created like this:

href="[OASISCLICK:http://tinyurl.com/XXXXX]"

STEP #6) Click on the Save button.

STEP #7) Click on Preview Rich Media to test the Linkshare banner. Click on the banner to make sure it goes to the proper destination.
